September, 12th, 2004 Sunday( 7mins more to the damn monday....)

THE FULL SQUAT aka 'BUTT TO THE FLOOR SQUAT'

Started with 1plate. 12reps. not bad.
Did 5sets. moved on.
1 1/2 plates. Easy right? wrong.
Heavy? not exactly. but sorta.
1st set. 8reps. quads swell. hamstrings swell.
2nd set. 6reps. weight seems heavier. still maintaining good form.
3rd set. 5reps. couldn't get past 6. wats wrong?
4th set. 5reps. 5th reps was from hell. panting like a dog.
5th set. added 10 more kilos on the bar. 2reps. and i sat on the floor staring at my swelling thighs.
mad. squats are mad. invented by the mad dogs, and done by the mad dogs.
But it feels good. I always rank full squat king of all mass builders, 2nd to deadlift.
they are good. they focus and target on the entire thigh muscles.
doing half reps? you are looking for trouble. knees and lower back hurts.
i've been doing them for too long. after i tried full squats today, i fell in love with it.
looking forward to it next week. hope my glutes and thighs grows big. need to look more proportionate.
